From time to time, the world gets attacked by a sweeping disease. One of such recent attack that we will not forget in a hurry is the outbreak of the Ebola virus. It is taking a lot of collaboration, effort, and sacrifice to fight that disease.

The excruciating pain people suffer when they take ill provokes the question, “Is sickness from God?”

But the answer is clear…

No.

The Bible tells us that sicknesses and diseases came with the fall of man. It was not in God’s original plan for man. And redemption also provides a remedy for it.

Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God and smitten by Him and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds, we are healed - Isaiah 53: 4-5.

Healing came with redemption just as sickness and disease began with the fall. In other to demonstrate this during His ministry, Jesus went from one place to the other healing the sick and setting the captives free. His ministry on earth is enough evidence that sickness was never part of God’s plan for man.

Jesus is the great physician, and He is readily available to heal and restore our bodies. While we encourage medical science to do their bit, we must not fail to acknowledge and recognize that God is the ultimate healer and restorer of our health.

Thousands are receiving healing daily by faith in the name of Jesus Christ. There are no terminal diseases or cases with him. Your healing is also His will and priority. So even if science is failing you, you can trust him, and your testimony is guaranteed.

Are you sick or afflicted? Did your medical report say your case has no solution? Do not fret or give up. The doctors may have the facts, but God has the final say. Call Jesus now!
